THE WORLD IS BURNING

Take the pledge and raise your voice!

2019 Was The Year The World Burned

Massive fires damaged the forests in Australia, Amazon, and closer to us in Indonesia. These fires affect the people we care about, the air we breathe, the wildlife we love, and the forests we depend on.

Sign the pledge now to take part in our mission to save the trees!

Forests are under threat and disappearing at an alarming rate. Deforestation accounts for more greenhouse gas emissions than the global transport sector. Finding a balanced way to both use and protect our forests has become critical.

Restoring destroyed forests can help combat climate, extend and reconnect wildlife habitats, and reduce problems like flooding and erosion. With better management, we can boost timber production without damaging the local environment.

We want to see a world where forests are properly valued – not just for the wood they supply, but for the many other benefits they provide for people and nature. And we know it’s possible.

Of course, we can’t do this alone. Take part in our journey to end deforestation and rebuild lost forests!

Building a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.

WILDLIFE

Plastics pose a serious threat to animals — they may inadvertently ingest or become entangled in plastic litter.

In fact, abandoned or discarded fishing gear (commonly referred to as ghost gear) is among the deadliest forms of marine plastic debris. It can continue to catch target and non-target species indiscriminately for many years, and many animals that get caught or entangled in ghost gear can die a slow and painful death through suffocation or exhaustion.

Donate here to combat plastic pollution, remove ghost gear, and create a safer habitat for our wildlife.
